Isn't rug hooking fun, JoEllen!!! :) I love it...both the serious stuff and the goofy!!! ;) Yes, I sew a rectangle of muslin on the back of my rugs with the name of the piece, designed and hooked by, the (c) information, a little information about the piece and the "spot-clean" message. I sew it around the edges and then sew the whole rectangle down as though I am "quilting or basting" so there isn't any puffiness in the label. After writing the information on the muslin, I iron it with a hot iron and spray starch on the back of the label. Happy Hooking! Sunnie ;)

I love the chicken chair pads. I think that they have more character with those odd strips on their heads. We're having some nasty weather here too JB

I think it is the light strip over and in front of the eye that looks like the chicken has some disease~!!!! LOL I'll try another strip that blends in with the other various strips. ;) S

Sunnie, I've been following along and have to say that is one sweet rug! Perfect for your spot in the mud room! Having hubby's approval is a good thing too!
